well thats all i run with resolume. 1 try left so not good but it works good!
i use mine like this!
from right to left i have the first 15 keys to trigger the first 15 channels and then use from left to right again the first 5 black keys for the other channels.
then for the rotary knobs i use 3 of them for the layer opacities and 2 for effects parameters and 3 for the layer speeds! so all in all you got 8 used.
oh just so i don't forget i assign the last 5 black keys to effects. im in the process of an m-audio trigger finger! i really like the oxygen 8 to use for vj-ing. its small and has everything you need for when you first start vj-ing

i just don'T get why every one of these trigger pad thingies has 4x4 pads. 5x4 would really be much more convenient.
anyway, woudl you mind mailing me your midi-setup xml file?

ok, i'm still trying to figure out how this works.
teh oxygen 8 has this nifty self centering pitch control wheel. i thought that would be rather handy to scratch through clips. you know,
center -> normal play
pitch up -> fast forward
pitch down -> backwards
unfortunately, resoluem doesn't seem to recognize any midi signal coming from this pitch wheel. can anyone confirm this?

yeah ive had this same problem and i havent sorted it out yet.
its the only one that i cannot assign anything to. the modulation is good for scratching and like i said its the only one out the 2 that works.
also why is this a problem?:P

i just think the nature of the self-centering pitch wheel is much closer to the actual act of scratching the playhead wit the mouse, semantically.
