Oxygen 8 v2 Midi controller problems

Hallo there

Im using a m-audio Oxygen 8 V2 midi controller with resolume 2.3, and i dont seem to be able to assign severall of the buttons, All the dials and main keyboard keys have worked fine, but the play, forward, rewind etc buttons wont assign.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Resolume only accepts the midi continuous controller messages from sliders, knobs etc. and midi note messages from keyboard keys. Other messages from transport buttons etc. are not recognised. You might be able to configure your Oxygen 8 to send midi note messages from the buttons by assigning a different midi note to each button. Check the manual to see if this is possible. If it is you will have to access the keyboards menu to change the settings of the buttons and save a setup with the new settings. Use this setup for resolume and the others for any other software that does accept transport controls (music software like cubase, sonar , ableton etc.).

I have noticed the same thing but have yet to try to re assign them. It sure would be handy to free up some controllers!
