Resolume Forum

I'm verry happy with resolume and it's functions. but here are some functions tha would make it al go a little bit easier:

Effects:
-it would be nice if you can select in the effect banks on the left side of the screen to wich layers they are aplied (checkboxes for layer 1, 2 and 3). at the moment it's only possible tho apply them to all layers or to a specific file...
- if an effect is aplied to a file i can't find any on/off button for the effect, only the remove [x] button and the intensity slider. am i blind or isn't there anny?

Bpm:
- is it possible to see the bpm somewehre in the mainscreen. at the moment i have to switch tot the bpm tab to see if i have a steady hand/bpm (i use the spacebar to set the bpm)
- if i have the beats function set to 8 beats in the layer and want to go to for example 4 or 16 beats i have to press the buttons too many times. is it possible to place a [x2] and a [/2] button?
- another nice adition would be to place some kind of stripes on the timeline slider that repressent the number of beats chosen. (for example when i have selected 4 beats the timeline is "divided" in 4 pieces so a can easier set up the start and stop frames of the movie.

Further:
-the thumbnail previewer shows the 1 frame of a movie. In lots of my movies (and from others) this frame is black... can't the previewer be made so it shows for example the 5th or 10th frame?

You can, by pressing the blank square near the x

There is a way, but I forgot... Try searching the forum, I remember there was a thread about that...
