Resolume crashing and displaying graphical corruption

Post by MACC »

Hello,

I'm trying to get resolume to work on my pc, I'm running Windows XP SP3 and version 2.41 of the program, I'm running it on a P4 2.8 Ghz and I have an Ati Radeon HD 2600 Pro AGP (512).

The problem is that, when I enable the output image the program suddenly gets full of graphical corruption, there are horizontal lines of different sizes moving randomly up and down the program screen and I can see my desktop through them while the second monitor is just blank, I've set the cinema options on my board correctly and it's displaying normal videos in fullscreen automatically.

The second problem is when I press Fullscreen on the output options, the program instantly crashes my machine displaying a blue screen briefly before rebooting.

I was using Reso 2.3 before and the same thing happened when I press fullscreen, I didn't get the graphical corruption on my computer monitor when I pressed "enable" though, but still I didn't get any image on my output tv.

What do you think that the problem can be?

Thank you very much for your time!

MACC

EDIT: I manage to fix the problem on 2.3 by changing the color depth in windows to 16-bit but the screen flickering on the main monitor is still ocurring.

Yes i had a similar problem with my ATI card, i found the best solution was to runn the card in extended mode. and then select the second display as output. also reset all my drivers to the drivers that came with the card ATI Radeon HD 3870
