Sorry if this seems remedial, but I want to assign key shortcuts to global effects in resolume 2.4.1 (seeing as you can't save them). However, a lot of keys are currently assigned to channels, but since I use a midi controller, I don't need these. I notice that under preferences, there is a "clear all", but I remember I hit that and bad things happened. I just want to clear the key assign for the channels, that's all. Is there an easy way to do this?
Also, another kind of silly question, but how do you clear a clip from a channel after you've dragged it there? Nothing I do seems to get rid of it. Thank you.

in the preferences, select the parameter you want to remove the shortcut from by left clicking once, then when it shows it the box click the X next to it

doing a search in the manual and typing clear gives this as the first result....
"To empty a channel press ALT & 'channel shortcut'. (so ALT & 1 clears the top left channel)"

Okay, great, thank you. As a side note, for the global effects key trigger seems a little weird, it seems that if you assign to a letter, that doesn't work until you actually drag an effect to a slot, otherwise hitting the letter just jumps to the effect starting with that letter, a la windows explorer. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Okay, I couldn't get the clear channel key to work. All I see is a clear all "x", when I left click on the key, nothing happens.

No, I just want to get rid of key trigger so I can assign those keys to the effects, since I use midi anyway. If I select clear all, it clears EVERYTHING, which is not what I want.

The X is the clear all.
