I guess it won´t work on mackbook, as it shares video with RAM. You´ll need a MBP!!

It can work on a macbook, but it depends which model you have. We had it running on a Macbook which was bought a few months ago. Check wether your videocard is Opengl 2.0 compatible. Also check wether there is a pending software update for OSX. We will have a look what we can do to support more models.

Macboook a no no
I've got the same problemo running Avenue on my macbook. I have no "output monitor" which sucks.
I guess its something to do with my graphics card. Boo hoo
Maybe its time to get a Macpro.....
