I just perminently linked my mouse to a control in Res 3, I don't know how I did it, is there any kind of hot key or simular function that I might have selected accidently? I'd actually like to be able to do this agian, is it a feature or a buggy mouse?
Or does anyone know of a mouse that can latch on to a control it's set to?
Please tell me how I did this?
Re: Please tell me how I did this?
You can use the mouse in combination with Keyboard shortcuts in Resolume 3.
In the default settings your mouse is mapped to the 'P' key. Hold down the 'P' key and move your mouse to position the selected clip.
How-to:
1. Select Mapping->Edit contextual key map
2. Select scale parameter of clip for instance.
3. Press a key on your keyboard, let's say 'S'
4. Choose 'mouse' from the dropdown list in the mapping panel
5. select which axis you want to use, x or y
The next time you hold the 'S' key you can move your mouse to change the value.

thanx
We need to update the manual a bit more. There are probably more features that people aren't aware of.

I think you guy's are doing a great job, a lot of people don't realise the amount of work that goes in to an app like this. manuals, beta testing, patches etc it's never ending.
Well done.
