Hi,

Does anyone know if it's a good idea to run Vista on a 5400 rpm internal laptop HDD and to put resolume and the video material on a 10.000 rpm external E-Sata disk. Or do I really need a 7200 rpm laptop hdd to get good performance.

Thank you!!

Xander

I think an external HD is a good idea especially a 10000 rpm one, you could think of having some files running from your internal disk and others from your external disk to spread the load.
