I know there are a lot of VJ's who don't use audio in R3, but the reason I love Resolume is the connection between audio and video. The reason the dashboard link's are so important is that the audio and video can be effected at the same time.
For me as a mashup stlye VJ I want as much interaction between the audio and video as possible. I recently tried a couple of combo's with the link knobs in effort to make some effects that look and sound "similar".
Here they are. I wont get into what parameters I mapped to the link knobs as I generally tend to map a LOT of them.
1 afx- distortion or bitcrusher vfx-distortion
2 afx-hi pass vfx- bright, contrast
3 afx - tal dub delay(free vst that works fine) vfx-trails.
So my question is this: What combo's do you use for your links? Also, I don't think trails is a perfect match for a delay, so, Are there any free freeframe effects out there that are made specifically to match with afx?
