I want control Resolume from Ableton. I believe I need something to create virtual Midi ports. Midi Yoke doesn't appear to run on Vista. Can anyone recommend any alternatives. Regards, Chris.

MIDIyoke will run on Vista, but before you install you need to disable the Windows Vista UAC settings... Otherwise the installer will not run properly!

-Launch MSCONFIG from the Run menu.
-Click on the Tools tab. Scroll down till you find "Disable UAC" . Click on that line.
-Press the Launch button. (A CMD window will open. When the command is done, you can close the window.)
-Close MSCONFIG. You need to reboot the computer for changes to apply !!

Now you can install MIDIyoke !

After installing MIDIyoke repeat the steps above but then choose "Enable UAC"

Do not forget to restart after disabling/enabling UAC!!!
