4 screen technique?

Hello, right now I have no video mixer. I want to be able to trigger 4 clips, and then easily, send them to the four corners of the screen. It would be ideal if this was just one button. I am starting to get decent results with link knobs on x and y position and a lot of hassle, is there a free frame effect or something that will do this quiclky though? Does anybody have any tips to the easiest way to acheive this in r3?

make sure all the clips are the same intial size.
use 4 layers, on the settings for each layer, pan / zoom accordingly ( so layer 1 is positioned in the top left, layer 2 in the top right and so on )
load the clips into avenue, making sure that the 4 clips you want onscreen at the same time are in a vertical column
press the column number above the clips ( right at the top )

Ive got that down, I'm looking for a easy/sleek way to do this though. I want to be able to trigger a clip full screen, then easily send it to the corner. I dont want to have to mess with fine positioning at a gig. Even going through the time to map the zooms, position etc to link knobs is a drag. It would be VERY handy if each clip had a button that shrunk it down to a half, or corner(quarter).
