I mailed this "bug" to Pete Warden. It's with the plugin via Freeframe.
He don't have this bug. Even with the same equipment

hmm i thought it was just me, but i had the same problem... i just used my capture card entrance instead of the freeframe thingy.
the video flickered also when using freeframe input.
no trouble with the input directly into resolume though...

the fact that the video is upside down is a freeframe thing. The freeframe system works with different kind systems like resolume and vjamm and others. All those tools have a different way of working with video, that means that in some cases (like with directx) the frames are read upside down and not vice versa. We included an property in the freeframe system that sepcifies wether a frame that comes from a freeframe plugin is upside down or not. I will have a look into this try to fix it for the next release, this release will come soon because we fiexd some bugs in the 1.5 version. till then you have no choice then to use an effect to flip the video back in upright position.

thank you all for your reply's. I 'm looking forward to the next release.
BTW Needless to say I'm still very happy having the live feed possibility in 1.5!

I had upside down video when capturing from firewire and playing video. After a re-installation of the video codecs the problem was gone. It doesn't have to be a Resolume-problem.

Robert Jan,
did you use the freeframe plugin for live capture both of the times?, maybe you used the resolume capture functionality, that one (when it works) works fine.

Edwin,
You're right. I didn't use the freeframe plugin. What's the difference between the freeframe plugin and the resolume capture function. I only used the capture function and am quite happy with it as long as my camera stays on, otherwise it crashes Resolome.
