Odd little issue here, not entirely tested.
Basically something seems to be up with how Resolume opens the audio driver. I am using ASIO4All with Resolume, as that seems to give by far the best audio performance. If I open Resolume first, and then Max/MSP, Resolume is able to play sounds but Max/MSP is silenced. (If Max/MSP is using ASIO4ALL, it is just mute. If it is using DirectSound or MME, it gives an error when audio is started.)
If I open Max/MSP first, then Resolume is muted. The audio files appear, but when triggered make no sound.
When Resolume uses DirectSound for output, the sound is garbled, as if slowed to half speed.
[Nevermind. Fixed it. Increase buffer size to 1024 in Resolume, use DirectSound in Res and Max, both play fine]
[issue-fixed] Resolume and Max/MSP can't share audio?
