If you want to use sound with your set then its a case of either.

using a seperate dj soft and keeping them seperate.

Or triggering clips via a sequencer, like ableton, or even some of the dj soft like traktor. this way you can preplan a show with certain tracks triggering clips at various points.

Thats ONLY if its just clip triggering, not synced video. For full synced AV you would have to trigger a clips and have it play in time, and at present resolume wont sync to midi clock. There are solutions for that but I wont go into all that unless someone has a specific question.

also remember, never try and play audio and a vj soft off the same box, as you'll usually encounter a slowdown somewhere along the way

a peculiar thing though.
downloaded some flash clips (i forget from where) and one of them must have had some sound embeded in it. when i triggered it via resolume the sound played through. I nearly jumped out of my chair!

thats because flash files use the flash player, which has its own route to the sound card.
