is this card supported by resolume? any experiences?

We have no experience with this card ourselves. In general we really dig the BlackMagic Intensity's, because BM has made their API available, and we were able to write our own access method for the cards, so you're not limited to using one at a time any more.

Any specific reason for using this card though?

simply about the price....
it's about 160 euro here, but only windows.
but for a single input and for capturing hd it may be a good alternative. also interesting would be the latency.
blackmagic is surely better cause of drivers and support.
