I got two things to ask for… more to come

1. I just checked one of the issues that affect my work the most besides all the other users' good suggestions. That is Alpha rendering. I checked with a comp utilizing a particle effect and solid layers. Comp file is attached. I mentioned the problem before on this thread: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7210&hilit=+alpha. Please please please address this issue I use a lot of alpha within my shows and I could really use that extra layer that just sits there being a solid black layer for now. Just to make us smile again have a look at this stream from Red Giant (I was literally LOLing when I saw this) and FFWD to 4:05: http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/videos/ ... tv/item/2/.

2. Would it be possible to hide the Alpha button on the Clip Video Properties if the clip's got no Alpha? Could be handy here and there but if it is a lot o work: forget about it

We did give alpha rendering an overhaul for R4, but looks like we need to check again. Thanks for the report. If I understand correctly, this is only with the 50Mask blend mode, correct?

Nope, I think it happens with other modi, too. I'll check and report back.
