Hi there.
I'm a Resolume 3 user, I'm wondering if I update to Arena I'll have the chance to output 4 1024x768 signals to make a mapped cube (4 projectors)
I have a MacPro 2009 with Ati Radeon HD 5770 (1xDVI out plus 2x minidisplayport out)
I was thinking about a a matrox triple head connected to the minidisplay port to create 3 outputs, and the 4 output with the other minidisplay.... or.... two matrox doublehead to each minidisplay to create 4 different outputs.
The mac pro dvi for the preview and interface.
Is that possible? my other solution is Watchout but I prefer to use the new Resolume.
Thanks!
happy vjing.

does it not work for you with avenue 3?
Re: 4x1024x768 projection with MacPro Ati Radeon hd 5770
I didn't try yet, I have to buy the matrox card. I just asking about the new resolume because looks that new max resolution is up to 8000x8000 so maybe this new version works better than avenue with multi-outputs.
Do you think this 4 output configuration plus monitor for interface is possible even with Resolume 3? I mean, does Resolume detect 4 different outputs in 4096x768 total composition?

pretty sure the max comp size is 4096 x 4096 in avenue 3 - plenty of posts on the forum to confirm that though

yes, I just check that point. My real trouble is what is the best way to output 4 different signals from my Ati Radeon hd 5770 .... two matrox double head or one triple head with the other free display port.
thanks for reply!

Hi,
We are currently trying to achieve something similar as you did. We have to project with four different projectors a video, but we are not sure if we have to edit a video of 4096 x 768 and then Resolume is going to split it into the four projectors or if we have to divide the video and select which part of the video is going to be display into each screen.
If you actually achieve the projection 4x1024x768, could you give some advice?
Thanks a lot!
