DXV 2.2 encoding - multithread problem

hi,

I just experienced some problems with DXV encoding. It seems that the encoder scrambles different footage encoded at the same time. The result looks like this:

Screen Shot 2011-12-04 at 9.34.05 PM.png (301.2 KiB) Viewed 4082 times

This happens when I upscale footage from 720x576, H.264, AAC to 768x576, DXV, no audio
  1. Close all video playback software (QT, MPEG Streamclip, etc.)
  2. Open MPEG Streamclip 1.9.2 (same with Quicktime Player 7)
  3. Open batch list (List/ Batch List)
  4. Drag & drop 2 video files
  5. Export to Quicktime / DXV/ no Alpha / no Audio / choose higher resolution!
  6. encode simultaneously

Hmmm.. This didn't happen with DXV 2.1.1?
DXV 2.2 is multithreaded so this might cause this issue, still i need to make sure it's not an MPEGSTREAMCLIP issue.

I don't know if this also happens with 2.1.1. Should I try? If yes, can you tell me how to roll back to 2.1.1?

I can hover confirm, that Quicktime 7 produced also corrupted files (I guess Quicktime X or MPEG Streamclip was opened at the same time)

I just tried and can confirm that with mpegstreamclip DXV 2.1.1 does work fine with multiple renders but 2.2 indeed does not, we'll have a look to see what's wrong. Thanks for reporting this to us!

You can download the installer for just the DXV codec version 2.1.1 here: http://resolume.com/download/ (make sure you're not logged in to your shop account, otherwise you'll see the new 2.2 download)
