Advance 5 seconds automatically on mouse click

Post by mkron5 »

I need to be able to do this when I play a single video (even better, four videos at once, synchronized): when I press one key or do a single mouse click, they should play for exactly five seconds at regular speed, and then stop. When do the one click again, play again 5 seconds more. Is this possible with this product or some other? (I am not a customer)

There is no automatic way of setting this up in Resolume but it would be fairly simple to set up depending on how long your clips are.

I would copy multiple instances of each clip into separate layers, so all copies of clip one in layer one, all copies of clip two in layer two etc..
Then set each instance of the clips in / out points to span 5 seconds, these clips would also need setting to play once and hold.
Once all the clips are set up you can click on the column header and this will play all four layers at the same time.
These will stop when reaching the end of the out point and you can then click on the next column to play the next 5 seconds...

It would probably be easier to divide the clips up into 5 second segments using a video editing program rather than messing around with the in / out points in Resolume.
