hi all,

get i more performance if i run Resolume on a HDD(7400rpm) and my clips from a SSD?

or should i run both (Resolume + clips) from the SSD?

all on MacPro 2 x 2.93 6core / ATI HD 5770...

thanks for your ideas ;-)

Sounds like a powerful system you have. What type of shows will you be running and what resolution will your clips be?

in this case a for 3 hour broadcast show. resolution will be 1024 x 768 (mapped on LC LED frames).

all clips are in the DXV codec and maximum running 3 layers (screen/key/multiplie - mode).

some have a length of over 30 sec.

i had some issue with smooth playback from a RAID 0, so i switched to the SSD (wich is/was my system disc).
