Re: relocate
Hi olialonso,
maybe I can help with a workaround first.
- Copy all your videofiles to the other pc
- Copy your composition to the other pc
- Make a backup from your composition file
- Open your composition file with the windows text editor tool.
- Then search for the content path you used on your first pc. In my case it would look like this:
C:\Users\COSMO\Desktop\Vj-Gig-temp\Mayday2011\eyecancer\totalconfusion.mov
I'd guess that your main sorting will stay the same. (blue)...and that only your global path has changed on your new pc (red)
All you have to do now is to replace the (red) part with your new path with the replace function from your notepad. (STRG+H)
In my case my input into the popup window would be:
SEARCH FOR: C:\Users\COSMO\Desktop\Vj-Gig-temp\
REPLACE WITH: D:\VJstuff\Vj-Gig-temp\
- PRESS "replace all"
In my case the result would be:
D:\VJstuff\Vj-Gig-temp\Mayday2011\eyecancer\totalconfusion.mov
- safe the file.
- check it with resolume.
I hope that helps you for now.
