Specific Clip not load with dmx control

So I'm having a bizar bug that in a composition that I'm unable to solve, but I found a work around.

So today's gig is 7 tv's wide with an 8th screen for foh. Each screen has its own layer, layer 4 the centre tv has audio embeded on all the clips, exept column 1 has a seperate aiff audio and I have a pearl lighting console switching columns and lighting on a automated que. I have 12 columns and the cues area as follows. Play columns 1, 2, 1, 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 1, 6, 1, 7, 1, 8, 1, 9, 1, 10, 1, 11, 1, 12 and repeat.

The bug is that every other time I play column 1, layer 4 is not playing. This is only happening on this clip. My work around was to create another layer and place the column 1 layer 4 clip there. In the new column everything now plays perfectly every time.

I'll make it thru this gig as is, but I'd really like to understand what's happened.

Can you post a screenshot of the clip tab for the audio file that's acting up?

Unfortunatly no. The setup was at convention that was stuck yesterday.
