Hi,
I'm actually trying to do quite the same thing you want to do with 2 Ati Radeon in the same pc ( one 9200 on agp slot and one 9250 on pci slot ).
I want to have the interface on a computer screen plug on the 9200, the preview on a second computer screen plug on the 9250, layer 1+2+3+fx on ...

I'm trying to use 2 video card with 2 outputs each ( sub d + video out ) .
First I extend the desktop to the four screen in windows display properties.
Next I launch Resolume.
I see my four displays in screen setup.
I enable :
- the first one for interface with display layer1 + layer2 +layer3 ...
