Re: set OSC type tag in TouchDesigner?
This has been successfully answered in the TD forum. It was down to my poor python skills, as I suspected.

set OSC type tag in TouchDesigner?
First TD project and I'm so close I can taste it, but I'm still not at the finish line.
I'm using a Roland DJ-202 controller to DJ in Serato, and there are a handful of controls that I want to map in TD to send OSC to Resolume. Some of this was straightforward and has been accomplished, but some of ...

Re: Random change direction
+1 for random direction switches in random mode. Devs, can you give us an idea if this is possible/likely to be implemented? I know that for coding dummies like me, a feature request can seem like not as big a deal as it may actually be from the point of view of those doing the coding, so if this is ...

Re: Auto Loop Plugin
you could use autopilot and transitions to work around the issue in this way:
create two instances of the clip in same layer, in columns next to each other. set the autopilot of the first (leftmost) clip to 'play next', and that of the second (rightmost) to 'play previous'. set the layer transition ...

"Colorize" effect more like AE "Tint"
I just found myself wishing that the Colorize effect behaved slightly differently, similar to the AfterEffects effect "Tint". That effect allows for mapping the white values to one color and the black values to another, and gives much more control to the overall look of the image.

Re: Use the video output as input
do you have a matrox dualhead or similar at your disposal? a possible workaround using this device would be:
make your composition 2x as wide as vour canvas, looks like you have already made this calculation ;) . make new layer(s) with duplicates of the clips in the old layers corresponding by ...

Re: Longer Power Cord for my projector?
apples to oranges is right. the key there is "A/C adapter", as in converting D/C to A/C or is it the other way around? either way, no conversion going on with just a power cord, it just moves the current from the plug to the device
