now I am not quite sure if this isn't already possible in a way, but I think this exact function is somehow missing and would help a lot:

I use Resolume with an APC 40 and would like to be able to trigger all my clips by MIDI only.
Now the problem is, like most MIDI controllers I only have 8 ...

This is probably a long shot but I thought I'd ask anyways. Does anyone know if a clip launch button sends different information if you you hold the button down versus pushing it? just curious.

Clip selection and button layout heavily depends on your configuration & setup, but it's good to see the workflow here - i like how you used the button lights to indicate layer opacity, great work

I'm no expert but I think you'll have no troubles at all with this one. I'm runnign resolume with comps of only 800x600, but I'm using a 600€ Fujitsu Siemens Laptop and it runs perfectly smoothly with 5-6 Layers and tons of effects

I've just started looking into using my apc40 with resolume today and found this thread. I'm mainly concerned about getting the clip launch buttons to light when the corresponding clip is launched, and getting the led's on the knobs to work. The combo of the apc and resolume seem to be a match made ...

got a similar piece of hardware by Creative I think.
It works, but it's by far no good quality sadly.
