::sniffle sob::
Yeah, I understand. But my big frustration with Resolume Avenue is that there's relatively few plugins for it (esp. now that I'm on the Mac, where the old Freeframe plugins don't work). I'd be more than happy to make my own, but it's tough to do that without QC!

Make FX in Quartz Composer
Resolume 4 looks really neat and all, but the one feature I desperately want still isn't there: The ability to make FX plugins, not just patches, in Quartz Composer!
Using Resolume on a Mac, I can't use Pete's Plugins. So my library of plugins and FX is a little anemic. In VDMX, I can make Quartz ...

No more "Next/Previous Deck" button?
Is there really no more "Next deck" / "Previous deck" button? Or am I just missing it? I hope it's the latter---having that mapped to my MIDI keys was a central part of efficient VJ'ing!

Bus power on a HD: Performance hit?
Hello, Resolumers!
Having moved up to Resolume Avenue, I can finally close out my Windows partition and do all my mixing on the Mac side. Which also means I can move up to a Firewire 800 drive (my MPB has no eSATA interface, sadly).
As I look into different models, I know buffer/cache is important ...

Re: MIDI / FX Question
Count me as another person who really, really misses being able to apply an effect only to a selected color channel! It was a great way to make some of the more dramatic FX a little more subtle, and created all kinds of neat artifacting! It's high on the list of features I want to have back, along ...

Mile High - August 21 - New York City
Hi all!
I'm going to be playing the midnight - 2 AM shift at Mile High, this Saturday in New York City.
Mile High is held at Piano's, on the corner of Ludlow and Stanton St on the Lower East Side, in Manhattan.
Come see the life that's left in good ol' Resolume 2.4.1. Still a great piece of ...
