youve suggested a couple of really good things and its got me thinking!
firstly, ive tried minus offsetting/pre-delaying the midi tracks sending out to ableton but this just puts all the audio back 180ms as it cant see into the future.... so that idea although seemingly ...

hi.
im currently using resolume to program a visual show synced to ableton live via network midi. to put it simply i have created custom animations timed to 100bpm which i trigger to resolume in time with audio from ableton.
at the moment my clips are not playing back in sync... they are not ...

there is an 'address' in audio midi setup in network and an IP in system prefs > network so which one do i use?

actually beatlooper is probably the best idea.... the only thing is i need it for mapping so i cant leave it on.
maybe i could record and render the movie with the beatloopr on.
how could i just record the amount of video i need i.e 1/2 or 1/4 bar?

can you be a little bit more specific. do you mean find a controller with osc and adjust the loop start/end like that?

ive since found that this is a known problem.
ive also seen a response from the resolume guys saying its not a problem and cant be solved as it doesnt happen with every controller?????????????

exactly like that! otherwise some sort of indication in numbers to where the slider is in relation to the end (1)..
then you could say i want from 0.25 to 0.75 and that would be the middle half... you follow?
