solved the issue. Downloaded Quicktime 7 for Lion, and put in my old PRO registration. All is well, I saw the DXV codec.

I"m new to the Lion OS, but it seems like Quicktime is limited. When I try the Export options there is no dropdown showing DXV (I installed it), nor PhotoJPEG. If I'm going to be grabbing stuff (Fair use) off youtube as FLV's, ripping, or taking video from my iPhone, what is the best tool to use to ...

I noticed that when I'm using Edit Composition Midi Map that midi notes in Ableton are recognized in resolume but shifted down 3 octaves.....a c3 note in ableton gets recognized as a c0 note in Resolume. Am I doing something wrong? It's no big deal I guess, since I can still build my midi map, but ...

sorry if this is a stupid question. Let's say I have a video clip of a guy hitting a baseball and I want the hit to land right on the downbeat of my song, triggered via Ableton. I need the beginning part of him swinging the bat to start before the downbeat, so I assume I could make the clip 2 beats ...
