sorry if this is a stupid question. Let's say I have a video clip of a guy hitting a baseball and I want the hit to land right on the downbeat of my song, triggered via Ableton. I need the beginning part of him swinging the bat to start before the downbeat, so I assume I could make the clip 2 beats (whole notes) long, and trigger it on the previous beat, so the hit lands on the next beat. Can that be done in Resolume, or should I figure out my BPM ahead of time and create all my clips with the timing I need before putting them in Resolume?
thanks much.

Hey m
This does take a bit of timing on your side, but as long as you make sure the bat hits on a point relative to the length of your clip, Resolume can do the rest. In other words, let's say you want the bat to hit on beat 3 of a full measure, then you make your clip 40 frames long, and let the bat hit on frame 30 (or 80 and 60, or 120 and 80 etc etc). Then you can tell Resolume to play this back in BPM sync mode, and it should line up perfectly.
