looking at upgrading my 5 year old core 2 duo machine( which has served me well) and was looking at either a 2.2quad core macbook pro which i can get refurbished or the recently released 2.4 model.Im assuming I wont notice much difference in speed with the 2.4 or am i wrong.Im thinking the cash ...

all great ideas.really hope the team can implement mapping to layers.for the difference in price I think its justified.

a freeframe point cloud to use with a kinect would be great.Id rush out and buy the kinect which isnt yet an definite purchase.

one feature i like about that other mapping tool (MM) is the ability to export a image file from the slices layout.I presume this would speed up content creation.Any plans for something like this?

Was wondering if there were plans to include built in syphon in the near future.I can use the freeframe fx plug ins but native would be nice.Thanks
