Finally fixed it. It was a Yosemite issue. I went back down to Mavericks and the screen tearing went away. Hopefully Apple does something about this, until then I guess Im sticking with Mavericks.

Hello, I'm trying to expand on Piano mode. As I understand it, Piano Mode jumps from 0% to 100% when a clip is launched.
