well here is a thing and reaffirms my belief that it is a 23-24 month time period that causes the fault to kick in

using the same installer for 2.3 - same serial i have installed it onto another machine and it works fine and has done since i started looking into this in january

the other machine ...

just as a heads up make sure you find an installer for indeo 5.1 if and when you change to vista

as a thought - this seems to be a bug that has only appeared recently

this makes me think there is an external cause as it wasnt or didnt seem to be present for the last 2 years at least

my suggestion is that maybe a quicktime update or something similar has in some way impacted on resolume?

well i have been getting same problem with v2.3 after almost 2 years of fault free operation and it started about a week ago

i have done a little bit of work here to establish when the condition starts by starting right from the bottom up and slowly but surely add in things until it goes into fault ...
