I think you're right, it is the video card. By futzing around I got the frame rate up around 8 fps, but still its jerky.
Its too bad the system requirements of Resolume Avenue are so incredibly high. For example I have about 8 laptops, all using the Intel video card, so none will work with Avenue ...

Re: Can't get output to show...
I tried the Omega drivers but apparently they don't work with the 6200 card, just a black screen.
I found this thread, which fixed my output issue:

However now my output is very jerky, looks to be about 5 fps. But if I ...

Re: Can't get output to show...
Thanks for the tip. Just tried that, no luck. But at least now my monitors are showing up in Windows as "monitor 1" and "monitor 2".
I also reinstalled DirectX (version 9), still no improvement.
Another possible clue: nothing will show in my "preview monitor" area.

Can't get output to show...
I'm trying the latest demo of Resolume Avenue on a Windows XP machine, and I can't get the output to appear on my external monitor. One factor I was wondering about is that my external monitor appears in Windows as "monitor 3", while my main interface window is "monitor 1". I'm setting the output ...

Doing greenscreen with Resolume 2.4?
Sorry to post this question here, but I can't find a forum for 2.4. I have a greenscreen set up but can't figure out how to do green screening. I'm told its possible.
Any tips?

Good program to just queue a few movies?
I use and love Resolume when I want to do a bunch of eye candy, but I'm wondering if anyone has any advice about a simple program to just play movies, but one that has smooth transitions between clips, and has playlist support, and ideally two decks for smooth transitions between each? I've been ...

Re: Looking for good USB-based video input
What processor are you using? I'm using one on a Pentium M 1500 processor and the processor definitely chokes on mine. I'm wondering if that one you linked to is worth a shot, or if you're simply using a much better computer than me?

I just got one of these:

Re: A few questions
Thanks for the tips.
Is this the only Resolume forum? This is such a great program and I'm guessing there's lots of people obsessively using it. Can anyone recommend another forum to use in addition to this one?

A couple of thoughts about bank organization
I'm new to Resolume and *love* it. I write software too, and I'm constantly amazed how much thought went into the design of this. Very very thorough, very nice job.
That said, one area that I find under-developed is the ability to organize banks. A few things that would make this easier, at least ...
