On a side note, Do you think under the Default tab in the app preferences, you could add a default mapping type? 99% of the time I always choose "This Clip, Layer, or Group" rather than by position. Having to change this on everything I map eats up a lot of time.

Ooooo one more actual Snap Rule that I think could be useful:

If zoomed in close, only snap to objects that are currently in view / on screen


Sometimes you're just trying to align a small subset of objects together but they keep trying to snap to other stuff above or below. Zoom in to focus Snap ...

Copy/Paste of Masks:

I think it's probably a safe assumption that if I were copying an input mask to paste into another slice, then that slice is probably identical in size.

Would be cool to have the pasted mask ...

When editing points of an Input Mask, would love if points would snap to boundaries of the parent slice.

I've been using the Session and Record buttons on my APC40 mk2 for "Tap" and "Resync" respectively.

I am using a Bome script so I've confirmed that the APC is only sending Note Ons when I press the button, and not sending any data on release of button.

Proposition to include a new Transport Mode option: Native Speed or Force Native Speed

Any clip set to this Transport Mode will ONLY play at it's native rendered speed, ignoring both the Layer and Global Speed Control sliders.

Obviously I should really be using Time Code to lock these video clips ...
