Does anyone have experience running Ableton and Resolume on the same MacBook Pro?

I am currently using an M1 Max MBP with 32 gb of RAM that I have to return to my employer. Since the M2 Max refurbished machines are essentially the same price as an M1 Max, I'm wondering if anyone can weigh in on the comparison of those two machines for use with Resolume. Also what about the M2 Pro?

Would I be able to use the Feedback Systems plugin from the site you shared for that or are you saying something would need to be built?

Do you have a suggestion for how I could create that branching effect? Basically so the line could multiply with another controller?

Thanks so much both of you, it works great! I put in the Smooth node as cosmwoe suggested and it works well. Now I'm working on creating a branching effect so the lines appear to be growing like a plant or other organic, evolving structure.

I think MIDI - maybe MIDI notes could be used along with controllers which would enable pitch control.

I’m looking for a plug-in that will draw lines similar to the ones in this video. Those were pre-recorded, I’m looking for something that works in real time, preferably in sync with the pitches from MIDI notes… https://www.benneill.com/portfolio/fathom/

I'm looking for something that can draw lines using MIDI control to adjust the angles, lengths, etc. I would prefer an effect but I suppose a source would also work.
