Here are some screen shots of Quicktime and Modul8 showing Mini monitor as input… I did not go any further in the experiment, like actualy trying to use it as source.

Re: ultrastudio mini monitor
What kind of monitor are you using?
I am using a 55" Sony 4K TV. The TV does the job to recalculate the proper dimensions (1920x1080). Works perfectly when fed from the Macbook pro HDMI output.

ultrastudio mini monitor
Hi, I just bought the BMD ultrastudio mini monitor to output 1080p 29,97 from Arena 5. It does feed the signal (Prores and Prores Proxy files) but the signal is very choppy and stuttering. If I send the same film layer to my second computer monitor the output is fine. In the Mini monitor app (BMD ...

Re: Advice on Decklink Quad 2
Could be very useful since next project will use multichannel audio (up to 12) with three screens. I'll have a look at this.

Re: Advice on Decklink Quad 2
I did not know about these modules. I use usb extenders, but they can't be run that long distance. Clever. Thanks for the tip!I typically run both DL-DVI over fiber optic extender (signal) and USB over Ethernet extender (access settings) to my X4s.

The Datapath X4 would be a great option for you as well. I'm a big fan of the X4 so if you can look some of my posts, you'll find out a lot of information about the X4.

Re: Advice on Decklink Quad 2
That's rather good news. Then it would be a solid option for 4 projectors to be fed from the Decklink quad 2 card as 4x full 1080p29,97 or 59,94 signals.
