im redoing my midi mappings for arena6.

Recognized there is no deck- or layer focus anymore.

Instead i can now target the "selected layer"
So i did this for "transition duration" and "video opacity"
But it seems that there is no "soft -takeover" between the layers anymore.

Alos had the error on my win10 maschine and successfully ignored it.

If u want performance and not pay too much check out the XMG Gaming Notebooks as an alternative.

I could go with the DP edition, but I will need actives DP to HDMI adapter

The DP edition wasnt working for me on a win10 machine. Cause of this i had to get the SE.
The SE was made from scratch, iis the newest one and cheaper.

BTW. TH DP is working with passive DP to HDMI adapters.

I talked to matrox and they told me it will work with the SE.

Now i wanna stop my regular work and give it a try.

i also tried rendering my maks as DXV videos. But im not done with comparison.
BTW i make all my masks 1.5x the size of the native resolution to have room for zoom.

I also use a lot high res PNG files.
Sometimes resolume freezes for me and i have to close it with the task manager.

I have the feeling this happens with "big" compositions with many clips and FX in them.
Using many high res PNGs as masks will lead to more freezes in my case.

Im using up to 8x40 ...
