No, have not done that. I don't really use Ableton at all but it worked well as a bridge between drums and Resolume Arena.

I used an electronic drum set to trigger videos in Resolume. To do that I ran the MIDI signal through Ableton Live into Resolume. I followed these instructions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Xy-R6qwEGw
