Re: Macbook Sluggish / Frame drp
Hello comunnity
Did my last VJ gig with my macbook pro i7 2.66 from 2017 16gb RAM , all my loops are converted to DXV 1080p.
I had two gigs yesterday, one with 2 projectors and a splitter via hdmi, and another one with a LED Wall via HDMI.
Ive been reading that this specific model of macbbok ...

Re: Apple Silicon (M3 Max) performance issues
You mention layer effects, could you send us your composition to mail@resolume.com with the file and external effects?
If it's too big to attach, we can send you an upload link, just drop us a mail.
Thanks!
Ahh, I have already removed the effects that ate my GPU, but I can restore the ...

Re: Apple Silicon (M3 Max) performance issues
What is this something that you also had with the 7.20 version or is this just happened since you updated?
Yes, it was happening before recent upgrades as well.
I just discovered something though - restarting Resolume after changing my Composition 60 FPS enabled it to play 60fps video at 60fps ...

Apple Silicon (M3 Max) performance issues
Hello,
I have a late 2023 Apple MacBook Pro M3 Max, with 96GB of memory. This beast should be more than capable of playing a DXV video file at 60fps, 4K resolution. However, in Resolume Arena 7.21.0, the best it can do is 45fps, and that uses about 55% GPU (bouncing between 41-62), according to the ...

How to add Video transport controls to Source patch
Hello,
I'm a total Wire noob, and just trying to get shaders to work in Resolume Arena now. I created a Wire Source patch with an ISF shader node, but I can't figure out how to get the Transport controls to show up in Resolume Arena. I am guessing it has something to do with the Video Player node ...

Re: Mac studio ultra
So Resolume works well with the Apple M2s. Is there any reason to expect it not to also work well with the new M3s? They look incredibly powerful, with up to 128GB of integrated memory on the Max model.

Re: Arena goes unresponsive, needs multiple reboots on M1 Macbook Pro 16gb
I have the same issue, with very similar specs.
I renamed the Documents/Resolume Arena/Compositions folder, started Resolume again and it came up (empty) and worked. I quit without saving, deleted the new empty Compositions folder, and renamed my old folder back to Compositions, restarted Resolume ...
