Re: Browser Source
We are looking into this right now as a way to easily add UGC/interactivity to our shows. Scraping geotags or hashtags in realtime to display photos and videos from the crowd, polls, interactive websites, realtime dataviz, etc. is a lot easier to get working with existing web frameworks, and having ...

Re: Limited to 16 DMX universes?
Yes, we have a ton of addressable LEDs, so our universe count is higher than 256. Some shows use sACN to address many hundreds if not a couple thousand universes. There are single fixtures these days with 512DMX channels each.

Re: Limited to 16 DMX universes?
Ok, so an example - how do I send DMX to universe #311-312? Resolume can only address Universes 0-255 per Lumaverse, so while we can send up to 256 universes to any one IP or via Broadcast from a Lumaverse, we cannot address any universe numbered above 255.

Re: Limited to 16 DMX universes?
Thank you for this, I had ignored the Subnet for some reason. Mental block.
Are Lumaverses "nets" in Artnet parlance? I've found that most Artnet endpoints work better when Resolume is in "Broadcast" instead of using a specific target IP for a Lumaverse, so it seems like there might be some ...

Advanced Output - set per project not as a global?
I have a lot of different output needs - sometimes it is as simple as a single 16:9 video screen, and sometimes it is multiple screens with a bunch of DMX mapping. Currently, the Advanced Output window is global to Resolume, not specific to the show file that is open. You can save and load presets ...

Re: DMX bugs
I had an issue where Universe 0 was not working reliably, we never found it but we suspect that something on the network was broadcasting on that universe. Try using Universe 1 or another to see if things stabilize?

Limited to 16 DMX universes?
As fixtures continue to add channels (there are some individual fixtures on the market with 512ch of DMX each) the need for more and more universes is not theoretical, it is here now. Why is Arena limited to 16 DMX universes? I could understand if there was a cheaper version of the software but this ...

Re: ArtTimeCode / Artnet Timecode
We are working with Resolume and Pangolin Beyond, and Art-Net timecode seems to be the best way to get Beyond in sync with Resolume (their SMPTE support is... not great). Specifically, we are synching Resolume to ProDJ Link, and need a good way to get Beyond to slave to Resolume so the lasers are in ...

Re: Advanced Output Bugginess:
we just caught it misbehaving again and sent the log, the gist is:
one Screen was sending video over HDMI to an LED floor, we plugged in a second HDMI to a projector and the existing screen died. Went into Advanced Output and it said that the LED floor was still connected so I changed it to Virtual ...
