Yeah, I understand that, but didn't realize I needed to set it on both layers and clips to work the way I wanted.

25 years of working in video production and VFX also conditioned me expect a linear way of working, but now that I get how it's all set up in Resolume, I'm really happy and can achieve ...

I got it to work the way I want it :) I had the clips set to Alpha, but Layers were still set to Cut. Once I set them all to Alpha it's working exactly as I want it.

Love the software.

The one thing I would appreciate having is triggers to cue clips at a certain point of another clip or audio file ...

Does this make sense?

I don't need to use any effects or content included with the software.

I'm fully making all the videos and graphics myself. I managed to map the screens and set up the project. If you could help me achieve one thing, I think it would be all I need to make it work.

I'm running an award show and I really thought Resolume would be the answer because of the awesome screen mapping capabilities.
Unfortunately the content seems to be suited for VJs, but not for pre-made videos.

I need to be able to play videos and graphics with transparencies over each other ...
