Dear Bart i'm sorry to disagree with you about Jeff Mills ! I love Villalobos but also Jeff Mills has done some good stuff ... try Blue Potential and let me know. Sometimes small differences make for a totally different experience.

No, as far as i know at the moment it's impossible but this is a feature i'd love to see implemented because syncing in audio and video in premiere is a pain in the ass.

I have an M-AUDIO FW410 and notice almost the same latency. It's a good card so i guess you're not going to solve the prob by only buying a better card, in other words the problem looks not related to the audio card intrinsic latency. I'm curious too about the causes of this issue and wait for ...

Let's say the music is changing and we want to folow with a completely different scene so we have to fade out layer 2 + 3 and fade in layer 1. In this case it would have been nice to be able to preview layer one or channel x. Just ...

Ok, this is my provisional layout, subject to changes as my knowledge of the real thing improves.

Faders 1 2 3 - opacity for each layer
Faders 4 5 6 - efx opacity for each global efx slot
Faders 7 8 - gain and fallback for audio analysis (global)

Just to answer Bart question .... i've never bought any vj footage as most of the times they are already heavily processed and/or mixed. The footage/clips i like are something raw and basic which i'll transform and manipulate according to my personal views and feelings to get something reflecting ...
