I've got the same problem. 20 clips per deck, each deck for a different part of a set. But when I go between them, suddenly the frame rate plummets to 5 fps for a second - the output looks terrible.
Got to be solution to this? SSD?

Re: Noob question about video masks
Ok, actually I figured it out. I have to choose the layer with the sillohuette as 50 Mask, put it at the top then it works.

Noob question about video masks
Been through manual and video tutorials. Still cannot figure out how to make video masks work.
I've got a dancing woman sillohette in white with a black background - I want the white to be the video from another layer.

HDMI output - better than VGA/DVI?
I'm trying to figure out which is the best way to output from Resolume.
My plan is to use the HDMI output from a laptop (Currently using Mac Mini), then route that to an active HDMI splitter, one signal for my monitor, another for the screen (through converters to DVI or VGA as necessary). I'll use ...

Controlling lights via DMX from Resolume
Currently VidVox are developing a plug-in for VDMX which will send data to DMX light systems. Wondering if there are any plans to do the same for Resolume?
