Been through manual and video tutorials. Still cannot figure out how to make video masks work.
I've got a dancing woman sillohette in white with a black background - I want the white to be the video from another layer.
Can someone put this noob out of his misery and endless failed experiments and explain how its done.
Big thanks.

Re: Noob question about video masks
if you're searching "mask" this might not be the best term to be using, as a mask is usually refereed to as a area that is blanked out, for a complete composition, or a layer, not just a single clip, for that you would use alpha layer.
If you make your background transparent, and your white silhouette as an alpha layer, you should get the results you are after.

Ok, actually I figured it out. I have to choose the layer with the sillohuette as 50 Mask, put it at the top then it works.
