Hi gang,
I see under the colorize effect there are a few new parameters.
The ones I'm wondering about are Mode: (Color / Palette) and Weighted: (On / Off).
How are these supposed to work? Choosing the Palette option of the Mode parameter seems to average all the palette colors together into mush ...

We had the same setup for ZHU and had the same problem. The setting Dinga mentioned fixed it for us.

Bassnectar has his own proprietary SMPTE setup as well.
They are using touch designer and a version of V-squared's epic for video. Smalley isn't using SMPTE i believe.

Instead of putting the effects on the composition, use an effect clip (with all the effects applied to it) on a dedicated layer at the very top of your comp faded up to 100%. Trigger that clip on/off to enable/bypass all effects.
