I'm trying to make a custom hardware built with arduino and talking to res 3 via osc.
I'm spending so much time in doing this, and probably my pc will be out-of-date to run resolume when I'm done :D :D :D

I've been reading through resoulme osc manual.
I find that some osc messages are ...

for anybody dealing with avenueOscBasic.pde, change at line 86-87 to reach this

myMessage.setAddrPattern("/layer1/video/positionx/values");
myMessage.add(xpos);

"position" needs to be defined as x or y.
then I changed ypos to xpos to have more space to move :)

I'm trying to find out what's wrong with the avenueOscBasic.pde.
The "scub" feautures doesn't work for me.


The sad thing is that Avenue does not seem to send OSC commands. So if you trigger a clip with the mouse the launchpad has no chance of knowing what you did. :-(

I had the same idea as you but starting with a picture and work in AE.
I opened the secon output fullscreen
window>workspace>cisanchor panels

and ...

the solution to this was too easy :lol:
it's not hard to create them in photoshop: create a file with the size of the composition, put the photoshop-window into the 2nd output window, change to fullscreen and draw (with the tool you need) on the surface you want to project on...

I'm having the same problem.
the file will act in that way thtough resolume.
if I play it in vlc will do fine.

well,
a lot of people is actually having problem with audio drivers on resolume 3, causing *no* startup.
