Features in This Version:
General rule: One thing to note is that any changes you make through the parameters will only take effect after the current transition finishes playing. So, if you tweak something mid-transition, you’ll see the changes take effect as soon as the next transition begins. This ensures everything runs smoothly without interruptions.

Audio in Transitions: Unfortunately, Wire doesn’t currently support audio playback within transitions, so the effect itself won’t handle audio. For now, you’d need to manage that separately.

Resize Options: This version includes basic resizing capabilities, but it’s always best to build your transitions to match your composition size. resizing Standard formats like 4K to HD will work seamlessly but if you’re working with unique aspect ratios, I recommend creating transitions specifically for those dimensions to get the best results.

Auto Mask: If your videos don’t have transparency, this feature allows you to use black or white as transparent areas, which is super handy in certain setups.

Phase Offset: Each transition includes a phase offset parameter, letting you adjust the starting point of the loop without disrupting the full playback.

Play Modes: This version now includes several playback options like forwards, backwards, and three different random modes. You can also trigger transitions manually using buttons, which can be mapped to a MIDI controller for easy control.

"Bag Mode" vs. "Shuffle" vs. "Random"
  • Bag Mode: This ensures that every clip in your pool plays once before any clips are repeated. It’s perfect for ensuring variety and avoiding repeats until the pool has been fully played through.
  • Shuffle: Clips are played in a random order but can repeat immediately since the pool is shuffled every time.
  • Random: Every trigger is a true random selection, so clips can repeat back-to-back.
Let me know if there’s a way to clarify this better in the interface!

Clip Limits: You can set the plugin to only play the first X videos in most play modes. The manual buttons, however, ignore this limit, so you still have full control.

Play Directions: Finally, transitions can now run forwards, backwards, or randomly, depending on what fits your setup best.

Other good things to know: - I now made parameter groups so the interface won't get clocked up with all the different parameters and you can close sections. - You can save different preset that will remember the different transitions that you loaded. As long as you don't move them from their original location you can always load them through the presets. This is very nice, and lets you make difference presets for different shows.
