Problem with MidiVid Codec

Post by SiliconCarney »

I've recently installed a new system specialy to use Resolume. But, after installation of MidiVid Codec, all the MidiVid compressed footages are not recognized by Resolume and BSPlayer. On a other system (my WinXP that I using for others tasks - Internet, etc...) Midivid is correctly running. Both versions of WinXP are WinXP Pro SP2, but the Resolume dedicated system is not updated because there is not internet connexion on this PC. Maybe it's the problem ?
Thanks !

it,s always a good idea to ru the latest windows versions; you can also download the Service Packs, burn them to a cd and then install on your Resolume machine. Hope this helps.

here's the solution : you must NOT make an AVI2.0 compatible file

just uncheck this and you are ok

If you have ffdshow running on that machine, make sure you disable MJPEG support in ffdshow. That will let midivid handle the decoding instead.
