So for the NYE countdown this year I made a 5min long animation.
My comp size is 5000x2290.
Rendering from after effects to mp4 or dxv was taking 14-16 hours. Using prores4444 because I needed the alpha with it on took 8-9 hours to render.
I know resolume will play prores4444 with no problems and it was playing it but everything was not pixel perfect for the screen layout and it was acting like the position and scale where not correct in random areas.
After enough updates and rerenders it was finally done with the last render on NYE morning..
I tested it first and still had the same issue as I described above. I was like oh well I can't fix it. I don't understand what is wrong. I used Adobe media encoder to convert to dxv as alley kept crashing at about 10%.
I put it back into resolume and tested it..... It was suddenly pixel perfect and everything lined up and matched perfectly.
I can send you the files but it is about 150gig of video files if I remember correctly.
But there is something wrong with how resolume is putting prores4444 video through the system.
Thanks.

Re: Prores4444 issue
Thanks for sharing all the details
Our dev team is looking into this, but it’d be super helpful if you could try something for us. Would you be able to render a short 1-second clip of the ProRes 4444 file and test it in Resolume? If the problem happens with the short clip too, could you send it over to us? That would make it a lot easier to dig into what’s going on.

Re: Prores4444 issue
I can use that file and put it through alley to make a dxv and it all fits perfectly.

Re: Prores4444 issue
Thank you very much. We found the problem and we also found some color issues with pro Rez 4444. This will hopefully be fixed soon and in a update.
