Hello,
I've been setting up a new tv studio, using Resolume to power our video wall, and also started to experience this issue today. Running the latest version of Reslume.
Nvidia RTX 4090
AMD Threadripper
3X 4k outputs (Nvidia Surround), 1x HD output (for Resolume interface)
It seemed to start happening when I loaded in a bunch of images from my C drive.
I also saw this occurring on another machine running a Quadro A4000. Although I put that down to the machine being to underpowered for the resolutions we were trying to achieve.
I'll try some of the suggestions in this thread. But just wanted to note that I've seen some weird black flickering, like this video posted on page 2 of this forum: https://youtu.be/oZqtXoYdGL8
Output flickering

Re: Output flickering
A quick follow up.
We changed to a Quadro A6000 card, using Nvidia Mosaic, and we still have the same flickering issue.
Our canvas size is 11520 wide by 2160 high

Re: Output flickering
Hey everyone,
We’ve been using Resolume Arena for large-scale events and high-budget productions, including live television broadcasts. While the software is a powerhouse in many ways, there's been a persistent issue that has gone unanswered by the company for far too long.
This isn’t some minor inconvenience—it’s a serious problem that directly affects live productions, where every second counts. We’ve invested heavily in Resolume as a key part of our workflow, and this issue has cost us big time.
How is it possible that a professional-grade software, used in major events worldwide, has a known bug with no official response or fix from the company? We've seen multiple threads about this, yet no meaningful acknowledgment or timeline for a solution.
And we’re not alone. I’ve seen many other users reporting the same problem, posting in forums, reaching out for support, and getting zero real response from Resolume. The lack of communication is unacceptable for a product at this level.
Resolume team, we need answers. If you're marketing Arena as a reliable tool for high-profile events, you have to back it up with proper support. Silence is not an option when professionals are relying on your product for mission-critical work.
Is anyone else dealing with the same issue? Have you found any workarounds? At this point, we need to push for a response from the developers. If you’re experiencing the same thing, please reply here so we can get some visibility and demand action.
Let’s get this noticed.

Re: Output flickering
You wrote you found removing the nvidia preset solved it for you

So, do you still have issues after that?

Re: Output flickering
I didn't see this observation anywhere in the thread, and it may be helpful.
When you hover over the taskbar Resolume tab, and the preview of all the monitors comes up, the flickering is present on those previews also! matching actual output perfectly.
I had a good 6 months with no issue, now BOTH my servers are suffering. $5k and two upset clients later, this is becoming a real problem.
FYI. Using Arena, 7680*2160 Comp, 1*4k, 2*1080p, 1*1080p NDI, 1*1440p GUI Outputs.
Primary and Backup Servers Initially 12600k cpu and 3080ti gpu. Now one is 13600k & 4070ti thanks to this issue!
TO ADD: Re-installed Nvidia drivers so I can ignore profile update, so far so good!! Cheers Shachar! Will update if I see anything .

Re: Output flickering
( System and related symptoms description already posted in viewtopic.php?p=98694#p98694 )
For me the following finally worked, or at least I haven't seen yet the blinking occuring again. There are multiple aspects concerning this flickering, but I think it is some coincident combination of Windows update and NVIDIA drivers. Right now, I've updated Windows 11 Pro 23H2 with the latest Windows updates and installed NVIDIA 572.16 (30/12/2024) driver. It has worked on two systems I have.

Re: Output flickering
Follow up on the issue
The flickering reappeared while working on a composition. I run the NVIDIA program and they have issued a new driver, v572.16, 27/2/2025. Installed, restarted and the artifact disappeared.

Re: Output flickering

Re: Output flickering
Hi Zoltan,
Maybe it sounds stupid, I don't understand the "Resolume NVIDIA profile" thing... Can you please explain where can I find it?
Sorry for being late, the server was out on a project.
Nevertheless, the flickering has not yet disappeared completely, yet. It appears sporadically under no clear circumstances. If I can perceive it correctly, chances to appear are when a combination of low and high resolution displays are simultaneously connected on the GPU. Usually, a change of the display HDMI/DP connectors on the GPU ports solves the problem; otherwise, an NVIDIA driver upgrade works, too.

Re: Output flickering
Do a Custom nvidia driver install, and choose the Clean install.
Then igore the nvidia preset installation on Resolume startup.
7.23 will have the automatic preset install disabled.
